Jackson Hole Writers Conference

Three manuscript critiques with authors & editors. Tracks for fiction, creative nonfiction, magazine, young adult, and poetry; workshops, talks & craft sessions.

20th Conference
June 28-30, 2012

Every summer, passion for the written word brings writers together in Grand Teton National Park's backyard. Jackson Hole Writers Conference attendees are young and old, veterans and tenderfoots who all share one common denominator: they all love writing.

The 2012 conference includes best-selling authors sharing their unique perspectives on writing: Anita Diamant, Victoria Hanley, Alyson Hagy, Naomi Shihab Nye, Michael Perry, Brandon Mull, Alex Glass, David Romtvedt, John Byrne Cooke, Kyle Mills, Tim Sandlin, Tina Welling, Lise McClendon, Craig Johnson, Deborah Atkinson, Laurie Gunst, Patti Sherlock.

Conference workshops are led by novelists, creative non-fiction writers, poets, agents, editors and publishers. Whatever your emphasis, you will learn the nuts and bolts of the writing profession, from cultivating ideas to making the sale. Our goal is to help our writers get published.

Attendees enjoy unusual access to agents, editors, and writing faculty through three manuscript critiques included in the registration fee. Over the three days of the conference you'll mingle, chat, and get to pick some of the best brains in publishing.

Choose from four tracks: Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, Poetry, and Young Adult Fiction.

"If writing is your religion, this is a gospel revival."

"The Jackson Hole Writers Conference gave me more inspiration and hands-on help to elevate my writing to the next level than any other class or conference that I have attended."
